The 38th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF) was held February 18 through 20 at Crocus Expo.
The main Russian optical event brought together more than a hundred participants at Crocus Expo. The exhibitors presented fresh collections of world brands of glasses, frames, lenses, new optical solutions, ophthalmic equipment and optical accessories.
The exposition brought together the main players of the optical industry, including loyal exhibitors, new participants (Harry Cooper, Ivan Fadin Forge, Optical Alternatives) and companies that returned to MIOF after a long break (Opti-Tech, Optic Master, Brigmaks).
MOREL RUS presented new models of frames in collaboration with the famous French architect Jean Nouvel and designer Constance Guissé.
Avvita presented legendary frames from the Italian brand Mirella Mori, embodying the harmony of style and comfort. Avvita also showed at MIOF the complex technology of Rodenstock biometric lenses using augmented reality.
Alhemer Optik brought the long-awaited Yohji Yamamoto and Philippe V models and key novelties from the Tattva, Eyepetizer, KUBORAUM, Eugenie Ratner and Matsuda brands.
Moi Ochki showcased a wide range of sunglasses and optical frames, created taking into account the trends of the next season
New Line invited all guests to try on images of the future summer from their new Enni Marco collections and feel the spirit of Italy. Besides a large-scale man-made picture was created right on the wall of the stand for the first time in the history of the exhibition. The art object has become one of the points of attraction for visitors.
One could admire the novelties from the Italian brand ALESSIA ALIZE by the designer Alessia Alize at the Rearden stand.
LUXURY ICON presented a new Italian brand - Unique Design Milano and announced the return of the Balmain brand. The greatest interest of the guests of the company's stand was caused by the novelties of the Carolina Lemke Berlin collection.
Herinckx Trade Solutions presented new products and regular collections from its key partners: American U.S. Polo Assn., Italian L.G.R. and RETROSUPERFUTURE (R.S.F.), as well as for the first time new brands for its portfolio - REVO, MM6 and CAPOTE.
EIGENGRAU Berlin brand presented frames for vision - with an interesting geometry and expressive lines and sunglasses - bold silhouettes with UV400 protection. The design of the earpieces is at the center of the brand's new collection.
Neovision presented at MIOF TOPYNET glasses care products manufactured in Serbia according to European quality standards.
The Stax Russian manufacturer of accessories for the care of glasses demonstrated a new product - a set for professional protection of glasses from fogging.
BrigMaks and Anzler presented cases for glasses made of natural, artificial and eco-leather.
A wide range of modern ophthalmic, optometric equipment and consumables was presented by the companies: Panfundus, Stormoff, Avea, Grand Optic, Dealmed, Opti-Tech, InterOPTIC-Service, Kriptomed, Medimportservice, OkoMed, Optic Master, Rusoptic.
Chains for glasses with thin earpieces became the focus of attention at the Ronda brand stand.
It was possible to test the virtual stylist at the Try Glasses stand. The brand team launched a smart frame matching algorithm based on facial geometry.
MIOF Business and Educational Forum invited participants to consider issues of prevention and treatment of eye diseases, discuss new products of the optical market, prospects for the development of the industry, topics of marketing, sales in optics, training.
Fashion Showcase demonstrated bright novelties of glasses and frames of the spring-summer 2026 season from well-known companies: Euro Optics, Paritet, Medstar, Vision Lux, Optic Market+, New Line, Burma, Escont-Optica, HTS Rus, Optikline, IP Rykova E.I.
A truly atmospheric spring photo zone was a pleasant surprise for the guests of the exhibition. Everyone was able to take memorable photos with beautiful compositions of fresh flowers.
The XII awarding ceremony for the winners of the Golden Lorgnette National Award in the optical industry was held at the end of the first working day of the MIOF exhibition.

Optometrist of the Year - E.V. Vinokurova, Center for Healthy Vision, St. Petersburg.
Ophthalmology Clinic of the Year - Vision, St. Petersburg.
The Best MIOF Stand - Alhemer Optik.
Laureate of the Person of the Year. Recognition became V. P. Gnatyuk, the founder and CEO of Medstar NPF, Volgograd.
Expert Council’s special prize was awarded to S. A. Yegorychev, Director of the Department of Special Exhibition Projects Crocus Expo, for his contribution to the organization of the Golden Lorgnette contest and the development of MIOF.
The exhibition gave visitors and participants a lot of impressions and opportunities - to see each other, communicate, relax at the Golden Lorgnette, find out the latest industry information at the business and educational forum. The exhibitors met with their regular and potentially new customers, the guests got acquainted with the optical products and trends of the season, selected new collections of the spring-summer season for their salons.
The 39th Moscow International Optical Fair will be held September 23 through 25 at Crocus Expo.
