Post show report of MIOF 2025. Autumn

The main national event for opticians, the 37th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF), is over.

Exposition.

The MIOF exposition featured the main players in the optical industry, new companies, beautiful stands, stylish collections, famous brands of glasses, frames and equipment. It ment also intense and productive work.

Alhemer Optik presented exclusive premieres to the guests of the exhibition - fresh models of Eugenie Ratner sunglasses, as well as updated collections of the TATTVA, Matsuda, Kuboraum, Masunaga and Eyepetizer brands.

New Line had prepared new optical collections of the Enni Marco Italian brand with the widest color palette, a variety of shapes, materials from acetate to ultralight titanium, gold-coated capsule collections, restrained and extravagant, romantic and dramatic.

Rearden stand displayed the result of J.F.Rey's collaboration with the cult Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima - a synthesis of futuristic aesthetics and brand identity.

Medstar brought BARRACUDA frames for teenagers and Manila Grace collections, an Italian brand of frames and sunglasses for women.

The St. Louise Group of Companies had focused on the new St. Louise Diamond collection of medical frames. This premium family combines impeccable design and modern materials with luxurious stone inlay.

The company Seasons (Seasons brand) presented frames and decorations made of natural materials. Seasons eyeglass frames and sunglasses are unique optics that combines elegance, natural refinement and charm.

Optic Design Lab from Vladimir brought the best models from its collections: bright and memorable - from the Avangard line, relevant and laconic - from the Estetica line, authentic from the Suzdal and Frost and Sun collections.

Brands U.S. Polo Assn., RETROSUPERFUTURE (R.S.F.) and L.G.R. greeted MIOF guests at the Herinckx Trade Solutions stand.

The legendary German Rodenstock spectacle lenses were showcased at the Avvita stand.

The Hungarian design bureau EINAR GROUP had developed an anniversary exclusive collection of medical frames and sunglasses made of titanium and Mazzucchelli acetate, inspired by the iconic places of Budapest - Avanglion Budapest. Models of the new collection were presented at the Einar stand.

Luxury Icon presented to customers its portfolio of brands from mass market to exclusive.

New MIOF participants - Anzler, Mobilens, Hightrade, Tryglasses.rf.

Anzler offered guests of the exhibition more than 20 colors and models of cases made of ECO leather and genuine leather. Mobilens - glasses with uplifting lenses Mobilens Uplifting Glasses, which are convenient in all cases, especially as sunscreen and for the correction of presbyopia. The lightweight and durable Mobilens frame weighing 16 grams is made of nitrated titanium and suitable for any type of lens.

Hightrade introduced the Osnovavision eye protection glasses while working at a computer, which remove only excess blue, have the property of photocorrection, create natural negative air ionization, self-clean and protect against UV and electromagnetic radiation.

Tryglasses.rf platform presented out-of-the-box AR technology for a site or application, thanks to which the user, opening the camera, sees how the glasses fit to his face.

Fashion Showcase

The Fashion Showcase, a reflection of current trends in the current season's spectacle fashion, presented amazing models of leading brands.

In the current season, the emphasis is on various shapes of glasses frames and the design of glasses’ arms - from sophisticated and elegant to intricate and virtuoso.

Alhemer Optik, Burma, Vision Lux, Seasons, Medstar, New Line, Optical Market +, Euro Optics, REARDEN, Hightrade, Escont Optica and Mobilens presented their models within the frame of the Fashion Showcase.

Business and educational forum

The business and educational forum of the MIOF exhibition was held September 24 and 25. The event brought together representatives of optical industry companies, educational institutions, ophthalmologists, optical industry researchers and experts.

The participants of the business forum discussed a wide range of professional topics, considered issues related to contact and eyeglass lenses, cases for their selection and innovations in this area, talked about protective glasses when working with a computer and gadgets, and also considered topics for advanced training of optometrists, merchandisers, marketing specialists, personal data processing.

Kids Vision scientific conference has celebrated this autumn its 10th anniversary.

Over the years, the conference has attained the status of a significant, much in demand and the only national event dedicated to the discussion of prominent topics in pediatric ophthalmology and optometry.

Kids Vision speakers paid special attention within the frames of the conference to the control, diagnosis and treatment of myopia in children.

Photo zone 

The photo zone, a round podium decorated with glasses and branded with the MIOF logo, became a pleasant surprise for the guests of the exhibition.

The next edition of MIOF will be held February 18 through 20, 2026 at Crocus Expo, Pavilion 2, hall 11 (3rd floor).
