Business program of the MIOF autumn edition has been posted

Business program of the 29^th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF) has been posted. The program features business and educational events of various formats. All calendar events will be held during the first two days of the trade fair, September 14 and 15 in conference halls J, H, K and L of Pavilion 2.

Key events:

Business forum will be held September 14 and 15, 2021 in conference hall J. Attendees of the forum will learn about:

• effective sales skills;
• optimization of operation and increase of profitability of optics salons;
• modern marketing capabilities of the optical industry;
• trends in the range of 2022;
• peculiarities of production and design of different lenses;
• separate methods of ophthalmic disorders correction.

The 5^th scientific and practical conference on children's ophthalmology and optometry Kids Vision will be held on the first day of the trade fair September 14 from 10:00 to 18:00 in conference hall H. The report on the 2020-2021 proceedings of the charitable foundation Kids Vision NPO. The interim results of the charity action Glasses for Children with Rare Genetic Diseases which forms the integral part of the Kids Vision project will be also summarized at the session. Among the topics that will be considered at the conference, the problem of myopia occupies a predominant place. Participants will also discuss:

• algorithm for optometrist accreditation;
• screening of binocular disorders;
• application of scleral lenses in child practice;
• general problems of albinism;
• state-of-the-art technological developments and rehabilitation tools for visually impaired;
• and more.

Questions-and-answers session will complete the conference.

Master classes including master class from Rodenstock about B.I.G.Vision biometric intelligent glasses will be held September 14 and 15, 2021 in conference halls K and L.
